The University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, visited the Director General of the Karbala Health Directorate, Dr. Safaa Ahmed Mahdi Al-Dada, this morning, Sunday (8/2/2026). This visit falls within the framework of enhancing joint cooperation between the two parties.
During the visit, the University President extended his congratulations and blessings to Dr. Safaa Ahmed Mahdi Al-Dada on assuming his duties as Director General of the Karbala Health Directorate. He wished him success in performing his duties and affirmed his full support for all efforts aimed at elevating the health sector in the governorate.
The University President was accompanied by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha; the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Sattar Jabbar Rahi; and Prof. Dr. Hassan Nasrallah.
During the meeting, ideas and viewpoints were exchanged regarding enhancing and developing horizons of joint cooperation. Discussions also covered ways to elevate the health, higher education, and scientific research sectors in the Holy Karbala Governorate.
Both sides also discussed a number of joint scientific, research, and academic issues that contribute to supporting and developing the medical and health landscape in Holy Karbala in particular, and Iraq in general. They emphasized the importance of continued coordination and cooperation to serve the public interest.
