The Student Oncology Team of the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University participated in the activities of the Third International Conference of the Iraqi Cancer Council, organized by the Iraqi Ministry of Health. The team delivered a specialized scientific lecture titled “Palliative Care for Cancer Patients,” which addressed the importance of this aspect in improving patients’ quality of life and supporting them psychologically and medically.
In this context, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ibrahimi emphasized that the participation of our students in such international conferences represents an important step in developing their scientific and professional personalities. It provides them with the opportunity to engage with experts and specialists, thereby enhancing their experience and developing their research and scientific capabilities, preparing them to become distinguished leaders in the future.
This participation reflects the commitment of Al-Ameed University and its College of Medicine to support student activities and encourage students to engage in national and international scientific events.
