Under the patronage of the President of the University of al_ameed Prof. Dr. Muayad Al-Ghazali, the Deanship of the College of Pharmacy at the University organized a joyful celebration this morning (14/11/2020) on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of its introduction within the colleges of the medical group at the University of al_ameed, in the presence of the President and the Administrative Assistant Lawyer Prof. Dr. Alaa Al-Mousawi, deans of colleges, and a group of professors, teachers, and college employees, with the participation of the Department of Media and Public Relations in the Abbasid Holy Shrine, which was built on the gardens and corridors of the college
The ceremony began by reciting a verse from the Holy Quran and reciting Al-Fatihah to all the souls of the martyrs of Iraq, then standing to listen to the national anthem and sing the fathers' melody to the holy Abbasid shrine, and then the attendees participated in cutting the cake and lighting the second candle of the college’s life that was distinguished by its scientific giving in its year the first
On the sidelines of the ceremony, the first three students in the College of Pharmacy were honored by the President of the University and the Administrative Assistant, and then the attendees went to the art exhibition organized by the college’s students, which included exquisite paintings drawn with their hands, and in the end the supporting committee honored the Dean of the College of Pharmacy A. Dr. Ahmed Hashem Al-Rifai, in appreciation of his scientific and practical efforts, and after that, memorial photos of the faculty staff were taken with the university officials
