Our university, represented by its President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, and his accompanying delegation, participated in the activities of the 10th Holy Defense Fatwa Festival, organized by the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the Holy Abbasid Shrine, to commemorate the anniversary of the Holy Defense Fatwa and remember the sacrifices of the heroes who answered the call of duty in defense of the homeland and sacred sites.
The festival's activities were not limited to celebrating this national and religious occasion; rather, they featured the organization of a diverse variety of scientific, literary, and documentary activities that highlighted the intellectual and cultural dimensions of the blessed fatwa and its role in promoting the values of sacrifice, belonging, and national unity.
Our university's participation comes within the framework of its keenness to engage with cultural and scientific events that contribute to consolidating societal awareness and preserving the national memory. The University President, along with the accompanying delegation, reviewed the exhibitions, seminars, and activities accompanying the festival, emphasizing the importance of documenting this pivotal phase in Iraq's history and transmitting its essence to future generations through academic and cultural programs.
This participation reflects our university's interest in supporting intellectual and cultural initiatives that combine cognitive and national dimensions, while enhancing partnerships with scientific and cultural institutions to serve society and consolidate human and national values.
