The College of Nursing at Al-Ameed University participated in the training workshop titled "The Four Guides of the Bologna Process: Preparation and Implementation," which was held at the College of Nursing at the University of Karbala from November 23 to 24, 2025, with the participation of a select group of professors representing private colleges in the Holy Governorate of Karbala.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Allawi Al-Ghanimi, a faculty member at the College of Nursing, stated in an exclusive declaration to the university media that the College of Nursing's participation in this workshop comes as part of the university's efforts to keep pace with academic development and enhance the capabilities of its teaching staff, contributing to the development of the educational process in accordance with the requirements of the Bologna Process.
Al-Ghanimi added that the workshop represented an important opportunity to exchange expertise among participants and to learn about the latest global practices in applying this process within study programs.
Al-Ghanimi pointed out that adopting the Bologna Process contributes directly to updating curricula and improving the quality of higher education outcomes, thereby enhancing the status of Iraqi universities within global rankings.
