As part of its annual plan aimed at developing curricula and enhancing integrative education, the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University organized a joint scientific seminar between the branches of Medicine and Surgery. During the seminar, a number of sixth-stage students gave a detailed presentation on a variety of medical cases related to kidney diseases.
The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Al-Salih, who supervised the seminar alongside faculty member Dr. Haider Abu Al-Maali, stated in a declaration to the university media that the event witnessed extensive scientific discussions. These covered kidney and urinary tract diseases from both medical and surgical perspectives, analyzing therapeutic pathways and studying the differences in diagnostic and clinical interventions.
He added that organizing this seminar comes within the framework of the college's endeavor to develop students' skills and consolidate an educational approach based on integration between specializations. This contributes to enhancing their scientific and clinical capabilities and keeps pace with the latest methods adopted in modern medical education.
