The Department of Family and Community Medicine, in cooperation with the Medical Education Unit at the College of Medicine, organized a workshop on multidisciplinary projects for the Second Student Scientific Conference, held at Imam Al-Mujtaba Hall (peace be upon him).
The workshop focused on discussing the approved working mechanisms for multidisciplinary research projects. It included defining the roles of faculty supervisors according to a clear action plan and a dedicated form prepared by the Conference Scientific Committee, contributing to the organization of research activities and ensuring the quality of the scientific outputs to be presented at the conference.
The workshop also featured an open discussion session and responses to participants’ inquiries, particularly regarding the conference themes, supervision mechanisms, and evaluation processes, thereby enhancing academic integration across different disciplines.
The workshop was conducted by Prof. Dr. Hussam Al-Zuwaini, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abdul Razzaq Aliwi Jasim, and Dr. Naeem Ubaid Talal, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the project objectives and implementation mechanisms, emphasizing the importance of such workshops in supporting students and developing their research and scientific skills.
