The College of Pharmacy, under the supervision of its Dean, Prof. Dr. Uday Abdul Redha Hussein Al-Rikabi, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a specialized scientific lecture titled “Nanotechnology and Its Role in the Pharmaceutical and Research Fields.” The lecture was held as part of the college’s programs aimed at enhancing scientific knowledge and keeping pace with recent developments.
The lecture was delivered by Dr. Kamil Karim Al-Tamimi, who presented the fundamental concepts of nanotechnology and highlighted its key applications in the pharmaceutical field, particularly in drug development, improving drug delivery systems, and its significant role in supporting scientific research and medical innovation.
The lecture witnessed notable interaction from participants, owing to its contemporary scientific themes and in-depth discussions that enriched the academic and research aspects, while emphasizing the importance of employing nanotechnology applications in serving the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
