The Deanship of the College of Nursing at our university organized an orientation meeting for first-year students. The event was attended by the Administrative and Legal Assistant to the University President, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Rahim; the Acting Scientific Assistant, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Abdul Kareem; and the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Dhiyaa Kareem Al-Bayati. This initiative falls within the framework of the university's commitment to welcoming new students and introducing them to their academic environment.
The meeting included a welcoming speech in which the attendees emphasized the importance of the university stage in building the students' scientific and professional paths. They pointed out the necessity of adhering to university regulations and instructions and utilizing the scientific capabilities provided by the university, contributing to achieving academic excellence.
Furthermore, the College Deanship reviewed the most prominent instructions regarding attendance, examinations, and the mechanism of communication with administrative divisions and units. It also introduced the study curricula and approved scientific plans, ensuring a successful academic launch for first-year students.
