Our university has achieved a new academic milestone by securing an advanced global rank within The World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI 2026), which specializes in evaluating the most creative and innovative universities worldwide.
It ranked (second) among Iraqi private universities, and (fifth) at the level of Iraqi public and private universities, recording a distinguished presence among the top (500) universities globally in the field of innovation and creativity. This reflects the continuous development witnessed by the university in the academic, scientific, and research fields.
The WURI ranking is considered one of the global rankings that focus on measuring the level of innovation and creativity in academic institutions, and the extent to which educational outputs are linked to the needs of society and the labor market, as well as supporting scientific research and entrepreneurship.
This achievement proves the university's keenness to adopt modern educational strategies and enhance the environment of innovation and creativity, in a way that contributes to elevating the level of university performance, achieving global quality and excellence standards, as well as enhancing its academic position at the local and international levels.
