The Dean of the College of Pharmacy at our university, Prof. Dr. Adiy Abdul Redha Hussein Al-Rikabi, participated as a member of a Master's thesis defense committee at the College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah – Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology. This participation falls within the framework of scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities and the strengthening of joint academic ties.
The defense was held for the student Huda Iyad Haider, for her thesis titled: "Ameliorative Role of Alpha-lipoic Acid, Melatonin, and their Combination on Paracetamol-induced Liver Injury in Rats."
This participation affirms the university's active presence in scientific forums and the contribution of its faculty members to scientific discussion committees, thereby enhancing academic rigor and the exchange of expertise between educational institutions.
