The university received today, Saturday (18/4/2026), a delegation from the Technical Institute in Kut, one of the formations of the Middle Technical University. They were received by the Assistant to the University President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Raheem, and the Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohsen Al-Sultani.
The delegation was headed by the Head of the Building and Construction Technologies Department, Dr. Hussein Hafez Khameesh, accompanied by a number of faculty members.
The visit included a field tour of the university's corridors, covering the classrooms, scientific laboratories, and a number of its vital facilities. The delegation expressed its admiration for the level of advanced infrastructure, as well as the scientific and academic level that the university enjoys.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation presented commemorative shields to Al-Ameed University as an expression of their thanks and appreciation for the warm reception and generous hospitality.
