To Enhance Quality and Academic Accreditation, the College of Medicine Hosts External Evaluators in the OSCE Exams

Within the framework of enhancing the quality of the educational process and elevating the level of academic assessment, the College of Medicine at our university received external evaluating professors. They were welcomed by the Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Abdul-Karim, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, to participate in monitoring and evaluating the OSCE graduation clinical examination for sixth-stage students in the Department of Internal Medicine.

The visit witnessed the attendance of Prof. Dr. Riyadh Dhihood Al-Zubaidi from Warith Al-Anbiyaa University and Prof. Dr. Sadiq Jabbar Al-Mihna from the University of Kufa. They reviewed the progress of the examination, its organizational mechanisms, and the level of implementation of academic standards approved for assessing students' clinical skills.

This visit comes within the framework of adopting the external evaluator mechanism as one of the most critical tools for quality assurance and academic accreditation, thereby contributing to enhancing the integrity and objectivity of examinations. It also reflects our college's commitment to implementing the best educational and medical practices to prepare graduates who possess the necessary scientific competence and skills to serve the healthcare sector in our dear country.
