University Media – Special Coverage
The Diwan Affairs Department at Al-Ameed University organized a religious visit to the holy cities of Al-Kadhimiya and Samarra, with the participation of a number of its staff members and employees. The visit coincided with the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him), which is commemorated annually by believers.
In a statement to University Media, the Head of the Department, Yasser Hussein Fadhil, explained that the visit included performing the ziyarat rituals at the sacred shrines of the Two Imams Al-Askari (peace be upon them) in Samarra, as well as the shrines of Imam Musa Al-Kadhim and Imam Muhammad Al-Jawad (peace be upon them) in the holy city of Al-Kadhimiya, in a spiritually uplifting atmosphere that reflected the deep connection to the religious and spiritual values of this solemn occasion.
He added that this initiative comes within the framework of Al-Ameed University’s commitment to commemorating religious occasions, strengthening faith-based values and social solidarity among its staff, and reinforcing the ethical and humanitarian principles inspired by the lives of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
