As part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen academic rigor, develop students’ capabilities, and prepare them to become future physicians, the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University has commenced the thesis discussions for its final-year students for the academic year 2024–2025.
The discussions were held under the patronage and attendance of the Acting Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hassan Nasrallah, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Ali Dhul-Fiqar Al-Bassam, and the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Sattar Jabbar.
They were also directly supervised by the Head of the Psychological Counseling, Educational, and Academic Guidance Division, Assistant Professor Dr. Lamia Abdul Kareem Issa.
The college witnessed vibrant academic activity as the discussions took place across four different classrooms, with the participation of a select group of faculty members and several guest professors from outside the college.
The students’ theses covered a wide range of medical topics, and the examination committees praised the efforts of the students and their supervisors, commending the quality and scientific significance of the submitted research.
The students expressed their deep gratitude to the College Deanery, supervising professors, and examiners for their support and guidance, which contributed greatly to the successful completion of their theses and allowed them to contribute new insights or reinforce understanding in vital areas of medicine.
