Under the patronage of the Head of the Education and Higher Education Authority at the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rasheed Al-Dada Al-Musaawi, and under the supervision of the President of the University, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jash'ami, the College of Basic Education for Girls at University of Al-Ameed organized the First University Day Forum for the 2026–2027 academic year on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The forum was held in the presence of the Vice President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Karim Abdul-Rahim, alongside the Dean of the College of Basic Education for Girls, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Subeih Al-Kaabi, members of the teaching and administrative staff, and student daughters.
The forum began with welcoming remarks by the Vice President for Administrative Affairs and the Dean of the College. In their addresses, they expressed pride in welcoming the students at the start of the new academic year and emphasized the importance of this occasion in enhancing communication between the university community and its students while fostering an encouraging environment for them. Wishing the students a school year filled with success and excellence, they highlighted that the college strives to deliver an integrated educational experience combining academic knowledge with the development of the students' educational character.
The forum featured several activities and segments aimed at reinforcing a sense of belonging to the university and introducing university life trajectories, in alignment with the university’s vision to build an active and inspiring educational environment for students as they embark on their new academic year.
