Al-Ameed University concluded today, Friday, September 12, 2025, the distinguished workshop entitled: “Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL): Principles and Practice in Medical Education,” organized by the College of Medicine in collaboration with the Royal College of Physicians Fellows Network – London in Iraq (RCP-Iraq Network).
The closing session was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad and the Chairman of the Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq, Prof. Dr. Amin Al-Alwani, alongside a distinguished group of academics and medical education specialists. The final scientific program included discussion and practical sessions held in the Imam Al-Mujtaba Hall within the university campus, followed by a short quiz for the participating students before dividing them into two study groups to continue the workshop in Al-Khalili Hall and Jaber Ibn Hayyan Hall.
The workshop also featured active participation from a group of esteemed professors and academics who enriched the sessions with their scientific expertise, in line with the university’s efforts to strengthen the principles of interactive learning and develop the skills of medical students across Iraqi universities.
