As part of the events of the Second Annual General Conference of Al-Ameed University, the Imam Al-Hasan Al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him) Hall hosted today, Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the convening of the conference’s second session, which was dedicated to opening a direct dialogue between the members of the University Council and its staff. The aim was to evaluate and rectify the academic, educational, and administrative progress of the University.
The session was attended by the Deputy Secretary-General of the Holy Al-Abbas Shrine, Eng. Abbas Mousa Ahmad, the Chairman of the Education and Higher Education Authority at the Holy Shrine, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Dadda Al-Moussawi, member of the Board of Directors of the Holy Shrine, Sayyid Afdhal Al-Shami, and the President of Al-Ameed University, Prof. Dr. Joudat Nouri Al-Jashaami.
The session addressed several key topics, including the development of academic programs, strengthening the scientific research environment, improving student services, and supporting the University’s psychological counseling and educational guidance programs, as well as discussing the challenges faced by teaching and administrative staff and exploring solutions to overcome them.
The staff members presented their interventions and observations with great transparency, while the University Council affirmed its commitment to listening to all proposals and working to translate them into practical steps that contribute to advancing the University’s reality and enhancing its standing among Iraqi universities.
