As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of the medical education curriculum and to meet the requirements of national accreditation—and within its orientation toward adopting the integrative model in education—the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University organized today, Monday (7/7/2025), a distinguished training event aimed at developing students’ soft skills, particularly Communication Skills with patients and their families, and Clinical Reasoning.

The seminar was supervised by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the college, headed by Dr. Hadeel Al-Shallah, and featured a scientific Seminar titled “Management of Normal Labor”, presented by a group of sixth-year students. It included a practical simulation designed to train students in effective communication skills, within an educational environment that simulates clinical reality.

This experience constituted a unique educational opportunity that enabled students to apply theoretical knowledge in practical contexts, which helped them enhance their analytical thinking skills, make prompt and effective medical decisions, and develop their confidence in managing real medical cases.
