As part of Al-Ameed University's endeavor to enhance its academic presence and interact with distinguished educational institutions, Dr. Haider Al-Araji, Director of the Continuing Education Center at the university, participated in the First International Forum for Continuing Education Centers in Iraqi Universities. The forum was organized by Northern Technical University with the participation of a selection of academics and specialists from various Iraqi universities and several relevant international bodies.
The forum witnessed a wide attendance from academic leaders and center directors, where important topics were discussed, most notably: training quality, digital transformation in continuing education, developing partnerships with the public and private sectors, and creating innovative training programs that align with modern work standards.
Dr. Al-Araji affirmed that Al-Ameed University's participation in this scientific event represents an extension of its commitment to its mission of supporting continuing education and professional development, by building bridges of cooperation with relevant universities and institutions locally and internationally. He noted that the university pays special attention to developing training and qualification programs that keep pace with labor market requirements.
The forum concluded with several important recommendations that contribute to enhancing the role of continuing education centers in Iraqi universities, along with praising the efforts of Northern Technical University in hosting and organizing this distinguished international academic event.
