Within its continuous endeavor to enhance its leading role in the field of sustainability and community service, and to strengthen the bonds of joint cooperation with health and medical institutions, our university donated a number of logistical equipment to the Gynecology and Obstetrics Teaching Hospital in the Holy Karbala Governorate, in a step that reflects its commitment to supporting the healthcare sector and contributing to elevating the level of services provided to citizens.
This initiative came during a visit paid by a delegation from the university, headed by the Assistant to the University President for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Karim Abdul-Rahim, accompanied by a number of directors of administrative departments and units at the university. The equipment was handed over to the hospital management, and the delegation reviewed the most prominent needs and requirements that contribute to enhancing the work environment and health services provided to patients.
During the visit, the delegation emphasized the university's keenness to expand areas of cooperation with government and service institutions, particularly the healthcare sector, based on its social responsibility and its belief in the importance of effective partnership in supporting sustainable development and community service.
For its part, the management of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Teaching Hospital expressed its thanks and appreciation to the university for this initiative, praising its role in supporting health institutions and backing their efforts aimed at providing the best medical and therapeutic services to auditors and patients.
