The management of the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Processions Group at our university held a consultative meeting in preparation for receiving the pilgrims of Imam Hussain and his brother Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon them) during the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage. The meeting was attended by the Head of the Umm al-Baneen (peace be upon her) Processions Group, Haj Majid Mohammed Al-Rubaie, and the Director of the Department of Media and Government Communication, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohsen Al-Sultani, alongside a number of directors of administrative departments and units at the university.
The attendees discussed the organizational and service preparations concerning the operations of the processions, as well as the mechanisms for distributing tasks among the respective committees. This aims to contribute to providing the best services to the pilgrims, according to an integrated plan that ensures a smooth workflow in serving the visitors heading toward Holy Karbala.
Furthermore, the participants emphasized the importance of joint coordination between various administrative departments and units, alongside mobilizing human and logistical capabilities to ensure the success of the pilgrim reception plan. This embodies the university's mission to support humanitarian and service initiatives, while consolidating the values of giving and volunteer work in serving the pilgrims of the Master of Martyrs, Imam Hussain (peace be upon him).
