The Dormitory Affairs Department at our university, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, organized a training course titled "Effective Communication Skills with Students and Attentive Listening." The course was held in the computer laboratory affiliated with the Continuing Education Center.
The course was presented by the Head of the University Psychological Counseling Division, Prof. Dr. Hussein Adnan Murtadha. He reviewed several important themes focusing on developing positive communication skills between staff and students, and enhancing a culture of constructive dialogue. Furthermore, he explained active listening methods and their impact on understanding students' psychological and academic needs.
The course witnessed remarkable interaction from the participants, as several practical cases and purposeful discussions were presented, contributing to the development of a supportive university environment based on mutual respect and shared understanding. This course comes within a series of training programs implemented by our university, aiming to enhance the efficiency of its staff and develop their skills, which reflects positively on the educational process.
