The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is concerned with teaching the various chemistry sciences used in the pharmaceutical field to enrich students with basic information about pharmaceutical compounds, starting with their preparation, through their pharmacological and chemical effectiveness, and ending with methods of their analysis and diagnosis.

To study the relationship between chemical composition and therapeutic efficacy with the aim of developing effective and safe pharmaceutical compounds.
Mission:
To provide students with basic knowledge of general and pharmaceutical chemistry, specifically related to pharmaceutical compounds and preparations, and to enhance their ability to perform laboratory work by equipping them with skills and knowledge about drugs and their chemical composition.
Objectives:
To prepare pharmacists capable of designing, synthesizing, and analyzing chemical compounds for medicinal use, ensuring safe medicine for the community.
