The Dean of the College of Nursing Discusses Plans to Upgrade Academic and Administrative Work During an Expanded Meeting of Teaching and Administrative Staff

In implementation of the directives of the University Presidency, the Dean of the College of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Diaa Kareem Al-Bayati, held an expanded meeting that included the assistant deans, heads of scientific departments, faculty members, and staff, to discuss several academic and administrative pillars aimed at enhancing institutional performance and advancing the college's operations.

The meeting featured a discussion on a series of directives and recommendations related to developing scientific research and promoting publication in reputable scientific journals, thereby contributing to elevating the college's academic standard and improving university ranking indicators.

The Dean of the College also emphasized the importance of rationalizing energy consumption and preserving resources through the optimal use of devices and equipment alongside tracking periodic maintenance work, in alignment with the university's directives in environmental sustainability.

The meeting addressed the necessity of enhancing cooperation with committees specialized in administrative documentation and the archiving of activities and official correspondence. This was in addition to emphasizing the adoption of electronic systems and automation in processing administrative transactions to achieve speed, accuracy, and efficiency in performance.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Dean of the College listened to the views and suggestions of the attendees, emphasizing that developing academic and administrative work is a shared responsibility that requires the concerted efforts of all college personnel to sustain the journey of excellence and success.
