The College of Nursing at our university conducted the final practical exam for third-stage students in the Maternal and Neonatal Nursing course, under the supervision of the course instructor, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sajida Saadoun Aliwi. This was conducted in accordance with the approved curriculum and using the OSCE (Objective Structured Clinical Examination) system, which is considered one of the latest globally approved methods for evaluating clinical skills.
The exam included evaluating students through organized clinical stations designed according to precise scientific standards, with the aim of measuring students' efficiency in practical and skill-based aspects. The most prominent among these included: Case Study, Partograph, and Check List.
This exam comes as part of the college's efforts seeking to enhance the clinical skills of students and prepare them to handle various nursing cases with high efficiency, in alignment with the approved academic and professional standards.
