The Scientific Affairs Department, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center at our university, held a workshop titled: "Creating Research Accounts on the Web of Science - Clarivate Platform and Introducing the Research Identity and the (H-index)."
The workshop was presented by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hussein Ali Al-Bahrani and Lect. Baqer Al-Deen Abbas Al-Hakeem, in the presence of a number of scientific and administrative department directors and university staff.
The workshop addressed a number of important topics, most notably reviewing the university's research achievements, explaining the mechanisms for raising the university's (H-index), as well as clarifying how to write the institutional affiliation correctly, and the researcher's role in enhancing the university's ranking at global levels.
The workshop also included a practical aspect, during which participants were trained on updating their research accounts in the Clarivate database, which contributes to improving the scientific visibility of both the researchers and the university alike.
