A delegation from the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine inspected the progress of ongoing work at the new building for Al-Ameed University, located at the new site on the (Babil–Karbala) road.
The delegation included the President of the Education and Higher Education Authority at the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine and member of its Board of Directors, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Daddah Al-Mousawi; a member of the Holy Shrine's Board of Directors and supervisor of the Authority, Dr. Afdhal Al-Shami; in the presence of the director of the implementing company (Al-Liwaa), Engineer Adel; the University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashaami; and his Assistant for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Raheem.
Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashaami, President of Al-Ameed University, stated in an exclusive comment to the university's media, "The Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine has consistently followed up on all stages of completion at the new building located on the (Babil–Karbala) road. This includes today's visit, during which the final stages of the project's implementation were reviewed, and the completion rates and technical/architectural standards were monitored. This is in addition to reviewing the details of the infrastructure and the equipping of modern halls and laboratories that align with the standards of rigorous university education."
For his part, the President of the Education and Higher education Authority, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Daddah Al-Mousawi, emphasized the Al-Abbas Holy Shrine's commitment to providing an integrated academic environment. This environment contributes to supporting the educational mission and graduating competent scientific professionals capable of contributing to societal development. He praised the efforts made by the engineering and administrative staff working on the project.
This visit comes within the framework of the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine's continuous follow-up on its affiliated academic and construction projects, which aim to develop the reality of higher education and solidify quality standards in its university institutions.
