The university organized today, Tuesday (3/3/2026), a memorial vigil in mourning for the soul of His Eminence Ayatollah the Martyr Sayyid Ali Khamenei (May his soul be sanctified). The vigil took place at the University Center and the new building, attended by the University President, Prof. Dr. Jawdat Nouri Al-Jashamy, the Scientific and Administrative Assistants, college deans, and directors of scientific and administrative departments, alongside university staff and students.
The memorial vigil witnessed an atmosphere of sorrow and profound emotion, recalling the virtues and stances of the deceased, and immortalizing his pure soul and his jihadist journey, which constituted a prominent milestone in the nation's path.
During the vigil, the University Presidency emphasized the importance of drawing inspiration from the values and principles embodied by the late leader in his journey. They renewed the pledge to continue working with a spirit of responsibility and dedication to serve the community and enhance national and humanitarian constants.
The vigil concluded with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha for his pure soul, asking God Almighty to cover him with His vast mercy and grant him residence in His spacious heavens.
