Overview
The Department of Construction and Projects is one of the University's principal administrative and technical departments. It is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring construction and infrastructure projects in alignment with the University's vision, strategic objectives, and development plans. The Department plays a vital role in providing an integrated academic environment that supports educational and research activities while meeting the University's continuous development needs.
The Department also plays a pivotal role in supporting the University's colleges, departments, and centers by facilitating administrative and technical procedures related to projects, maintaining continuous coordination with relevant stakeholders, and addressing challenges to ensure the timely completion of projects in accordance with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and optimal resource utilization.
The Department consists of three main divisions, each with specific responsibilities:

Projects Planning Division: This division is responsible for preparing the University's strategic and five-year development plans for projects, assessing the needs of colleges and academic departments, and developing programs and proposals that contribute to the enhancement of infrastructure and support the University's future expansion and growth.

Projects Implementation Division: This division is responsible for executing projects and supervising their implementation on-site. It ensures that all work is carried out in accordance with approved engineering and technical specifications while coordinating with the relevant parties to complete projects within the established timelines and according to the highest quality standards.

Projects Follow-up Division: This division is responsible for monitoring all University projects throughout their various stages, tracking progress rates, preparing periodic reports, and following up on the resolution of implementation challenges in coordination with the executing parties to ensure the continuity of work and the achievement of each project's objectives.
