Overview

The Legal Affairs unit represents the legal reference for the university, providing legal consultations and opinions, drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and tenders, representing the university before courts and judicial authorities, and protecting institutional and staff rights under the law.

To establish and apply the principle of the rule of law, ensuring complete legal soundness and justice in all university decisions, transactions, and policies.

Mission

To provide integrated legal support and protection to the university presidency, colleges, and departments, drafting decisions and contracts with high professionalism to secure university rights and prevent legal disputes.

Objectives

1. Provide accurate legal consultations and opinions to the university presidency and various technical/administrative committees.
2. Draft and review contracts, pledges, guarantees, and agreements concluded by the university with external and internal parties.
3. Represent the university and follow up on diverse lawsuits and legal matters before competent courts and official authorities.
4. Supervise and participate in investigative and auditing committees to ensure absolute compliance with effective regulations and laws.
