Profile

An academic and university administrator with more than two decades of contribution to teaching mathematics and computer science, and to leading academic and administrative work in higher-education institutions. He earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics Applications from West Virginia University, USA, in 2017, where he received the Best Iraqi Ph.D. Student Award in recognition of his academic excellence. He has held senior leadership positions across the University of Karbala and the University of Al-Ameed, building substantial expertise in digital transformation, electronic registration systems, the implementation of the Bologna Process, and the development of automated university systems. His research interests extend to Fractal Geometry and Consensus Measurement, as well as his passion for applying advanced mathematics in the field of engineering, resulting in peer-reviewed publications in respected scientific journals.

Professional & Administrative Experience

University of Al-Ameed:

• Assistant to the University President for Administrative & Legal Affairs — overseeing the presidency's administrative and legal files and driving institutional performance and digital transformation across university units.

University of Karbala:

• Head of the Admission & Registration Department (2015 – until moving to the University of Al-Ameed).
• Head of the Guidance and Counseling Center for admission to private universities and colleges in Karbala Governorate (2019).
• Faculty member teaching mathematics, statistics, and computer science at the College of Administration and Economics, alongside managing student affairs and registration for more than 12 years.

West Virginia University (USA):

• Instructor of pure and applied mathematics for undergraduate students, in both Arabic and English.

Al-Nahrain University:

• Faculty member, Department of Mathematics and Computer Applications, for three years.
• Department librarian and computer-lab manager, alongside teaching mathematics and programming languages.

• Recipient of the Best Iraqi Ph.D. Student Award in the United States, 2017.
