Academic Qualifications
Dr. Hussein Hakem Abdulwahid Jasoor is the Director of the Student Activities Department at Al-Ameed University. He holds a Ph.D. in Sports Management from the University of Tehran, a Master’s degree in Sports Marketing Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sport Sciences from the University of Baghdad.
Academic and Administrative Experience
He has extensive academic and administrative experience in student activities and university sports management, overseeing sports, cultural, artistic, scouting, and volunteer programs that foster students’ leadership, creativity, and community engagement.
Athletic Career and Participations
Dr. Hussein is an International Athletics Official, a former athlete, and a participant in the Professional Development Program for University Department Directors in the Russian Federation. He has also contributed to numerous academic, sports, and student activities at both national and international levels.
Objectives and Future Vision
His vision is to contribute to building a leading university environment in student activities by preparing students with leadership and creative skills and empowering them to play an active role in community service and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
