The Student Activities Department, led by its director Dr. Hussein Hakim, in collaboration with the Deanery of the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University and its Student Activities Division, represented by Mr. Najah Hamza Kazem, organized a five-a-side football match on Sunday, October 27, 2024. The match was held at the university’s sports field and brought together the football teams from the College of Pharmacy at Al-Ameed University and the College of Pharmacy at the University of Karbala. This game was part of the recently signed agreement between the two universities, which aims to promote student activities and foster sports and cultural exchange between the two colleges.
The match was marked by competitive sportsmanship between the two teams and concluded with a narrow 1-0 victory for Al-Ameed University’s College of Pharmacy team. The event saw the attendance of several students and faculty members from both institutions, adding to the lively and spirited atmosphere.
