Our university received a delegation from the management of Al-Hindia Teaching Hospital, in the presence of the Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Lamia Abdul-Karim, and the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, within the framework of enhancing academic and health cooperation between the two sides.
The meeting featured a discussion on ways to develop the joint partnership, particularly in the field of clinical training for the College of Medicine's students. This aims to enhance the students' practical skills and prepare them for professional practice in accordance with the latest medical and educational standards.
The meeting also addressed the development of educational and training programs and the exchange of scientific expertise, which will positively reflect on the level of medical education. Both parties emphasized the importance of expanding areas of scientific cooperation and joint coordination to support the medical services provided to citizens by unifying efforts and maximizing the utilization of the available capabilities at both institutions, thereby enhancing integration between the academic and health sectors.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their keenness to maintain continuous communication and cooperation to achieve mutual goals in serving the community and elevating the standards of medical education and healthcare.
