In commemoration of the martyrdom of the Mistress of the Women of the Worlds, Sayyida Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), the female students of the College of Basic Education at Al-Ameed University organized a memorial mourning council marking the martyrdom of the daughter of the Messenger of Allah (Allah's prayers be upon him and his family). This took place in the hall of the Al-Siddiqah Al-Tahira Center, affiliated with the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, amidst a faith-filled atmosphere full of grief and condolences to the Household of Prophethood (peace be upon them).
The Acting Dean of the College of Basic Education, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Subhih Al-Kaabi, stated in a declaration to the university media that the council included a religious lecture discussing the biography, life, and the injustice suffered by our Lady Fatima Al-Zahra (peace be upon her), as well as her striving and sacrifices in defending the Mohammadan message. It also recalled the stances and values she presented to the world as a role model for the Muslim woman in steadfastness, knowledge, and chastity.
He added that these events embody the depth of our students' spiritual and intellectual connection to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) and contribute to enhancing the students' value-based and moral identity, in alignment with the university's mission to build a conscious generation adhering to its humanitarian and religious principles.
