The fifth-year students of the College of Dentistry at Al-Ameed University organized a graduation research discussion session today, Saturday, April 12, 2025, focusing on a significant topic in oral surgery, particularly procedures related to wisdom tooth extractions. The research centered on studying the benefits of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) and its role in enhancing outcomes in this type of surgical intervention.
The session was attended by the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Majeed Al-Nasrawi, along with his deputies and a number of faculty members, who commended the relevance, novelty, and positive impact of the topic in advancing surgical practices within this critical field.
The research was distinguished by its scientific approach, supported by experiments and clinical observations, demonstrating that the use of Hyaluronic Acid contributes to accelerating wound healing and reducing post-operative inflammation, which positively affects patient comfort and recovery speed.
