The Deanship of the College of Basic Education for Girls at Al-Ameed University organized a mourning procession for its students to the shrine of the Master Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), commemorating the death anniversary of his mother, the dignified lady Umm al-Banin (peace be upon her).
The Dean of the College, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Kaabi, stated in a declaration to the university media that this event, which the college holds annually, aims to consolidate principles of sublime values and highlight the biography of this great woman. She presented a unique model of sacrifice, altruism, and loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), offering her four sons as martyrs in support of the religion.
He explained that this procession carried an educational message calling for adherence to chastity and morals, and drawing inspiration from the noble qualities that characterized Sayyida Umm al-Banin (peace be upon her), contributing to enhancing the religious and moral identity of the students.v
