As part of the commitment of University of Al-Ameed to strengthening partnerships with health and academic institutions and elevating the level of education and clinical training, the Deanship of the College of Nursing held a joint meeting with a delegation from Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital to discuss ways to expand academic and training cooperation, contributing to the development of student and graduate skills and keeping pace with global standards in nursing sciences.

The meeting was attended on behalf of the College of Nursing by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Dhiaa Karim Al-Bayati, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Dr. Redha Mohammed Al-Taie, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Shah Zanan Badr. The delegation from Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital included the Deputy Director for Nursing Affairs, the Director of the Training and Development Unit at the hospital, and a number of international trainers specializing in nursing.

The meeting addressed several topics related to developing the educational and practical process while coordinating joint efforts between both sides to provide high-quality training opportunities for students and graduates, boosting their professional and clinical readiness.

The meeting resulted in an agreement on key points, most notably enhancing training and development cooperation by offering training opportunities for graduating students to develop their practical and clinical skills. It also included organizing specialized training courses at the Training and Development Center of Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital—granting participants and graduates accredited training certificates to enhance their career prospects—and updating curricula according to global standards by involving international experts and specialists to evaluate, review, and develop the College of Nursing's curricula to ensure alignment with the latest global developments and trends in nursing and healthcare sciences.
