The activities of the second day of the Third Al-Ameed University International Conference for Medical Sciences kicked off this morning, Thursday (November 27, 2025). The conference is organized by the university in cooperation with Al-Kafeel University and Al-Kafeel Super Speciality Hospital, under the slogan "Integration of Medical Sciences to Serve Society," with the participation of researchers and academics from various Iraqi and international universities.
The scientific sessions of the second day were attended by the President of the Education and Higher Education Authority at the Al-Abbas (p) Holy Shrine, Prof. Dr. Abbas Rashid Al-Daddah Al-Mousawi, alongside a number of scientific figures, researchers, and participants from local and international universities.
The day's activities included the continuation of specialized research sessions within the conference's five tracks, in addition to a dialogue session on modern medical education. The events concluded with a closing session that included the speech of the scientific committee and the honoring of distinguished research.
The Director of the Media and Government Communication Department at Al-Ameed University, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohsen Al-Sultani, stated in an exclusive declaration that the conference witnessed high-level organization and wide media coverage from various official media outlets. This reflects the interest in conveying scientific activities and highlighting the university's role in supporting scientific research and developing the academic journey.
