The President of al_ameed University, Prof. Muayad Omran Al-Ghazali, today, Wednesday (4/11/2020), signed a joint scientific cooperation agreement with the President of the University of Basra, Prof. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, which is intended to open horizons for joint scientific and administrative cooperation between the two universities
The agreement that was signed aims to activate and develop joint scientific and administrative cooperation between the two universities and to raise the academic level in the fields of scientific research, training, professional development, and knowledge dissemination, in recognition of the role of universities in building and developing society
The cooperation agreement included three items, the first of which is scientific cooperation between the two universities through holding conferences, seminars and joint scientific workshops, development courses for staff working in both, joint scientific research projects, exchange of teaching experiences, and scientific development programs for professors and students from both universities
As for the second item, it concerns joint administrative cooperation between the two universities and in all fields, including the exchange, proposal and implementation of joint professional development programs and others
And the third item included joint cooperation with regard to students, as it includes psychological counseling and awareness programs, the establishment of sports and art activities, the establishment of scout camps and scientific embassies, and the exchange of development programs and human development programs
