Al-Ameed University's College of Nursing Earns Iraq’s First Full Accreditation for a Private College

In a remarkable academic milestone, the College of Nursing at Al-Ameed University has been awarded full programmatic accreditation by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, making it the first private college in Iraq to receive this prestigious recognition among all private colleges, and the second college to achieve this status across both public and private universities in Iraq.

This accreditation reflects the commitment of the sponsoring institution, the Al-Abbas’s Holy Shrine, to establishing a solid and sustainable academic vision, as well as the College's adherence to rigorous academic quality standards and accredited educational programs. It marks a pioneering step towards enhancing confidence in the educational outcomes of Al-Ameed University and advancing its academic system to meet the needs of the healthcare sector and keep pace with scientific developments in the field of nursing.

Prof. Dr. Joddat Nouri Al-Jashami, President of Al-Ameed University, expressed his deep pride in this achievement, emphasizing that it is the result of continuous efforts by the College’s Deanery, faculty members, administrative staff, and students.
