The College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University Organizes a Scientific Workshop on Utilizing Laboratory Data for Diagnosing Medical Conditions
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University organized a specialized scientific workshop in internal medicine titled: "How to Utilize Laboratory Data for Diagnosing Medical Conditions", aimed at sixth-year medical students.
The workshop was presented by Professor Hudhaifa Adam Ali, a Consultant in Respiratory Diseases at the University of Bristol, UK. The session covered key topics that enhance a doctor's skills during clinical residency, including:
Proper interpretation of blood acidity and gas analysis
Reading and analyzing chest X-rays in various medical conditions
Understanding lung function tests and correlating them with clinical cases
Integrating laboratory and imaging data to achieve accurate medical diagnoses
This workshop is part of the scientific activities regularly organized by the College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University, aiming to enhance students' clinical and diagnostic skills and prepare them to practice medicine according to the latest scientific standards.
