On Monday, June 30, 2025, sixth-year medical students at Al-Ameed University sat for their final clinical examination in Obstetrics and Gynecology using the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) format. The exam was conducted in the Clinical Skills Laboratory under the supervision of the Acting Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Hassan Nasrallah, with the participation of the assistant deans and the attendance of Prof. Dr. Hussam Al-Zuwaini, Head of the Medical Education Unit, as well as Prof. Dr. Asmaa Al-Sarraji, who served as an external examiner. The exam was also overseen by the Head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, Lecturer Dr. Hadeel Al-Shallah.

The examination was distinguished by its implementation of the globally recognized OSCE model, known for its precision and high objectivity in assessing students' clinical skills and diagnostic abilities. It included twelve (12) stations—six observed and six unobserved—carefully designed to simulate real clinical scenarios, with rigorous evaluation criteria applied to ensure transparency and fairness in assessment.

Supervisors praised the significant efforts made by the organizational and administrative committees in preparing and executing the exam, emphasizing that such a model contributes to enhancing the competencies of the college’s graduates and strengthens the quality of medical education at the university.
