The College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University conducted the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) for sixth-year students in the Clinical Skills Laboratory. This exam is recognized as one of the most advanced practical assessment methods used in medical education. The examination was supervised by Dr. Rassil Jasim Khalaf, Head of the Clinical Skills Laboratory, and Dr. Hadeel Al-Shallah, Chair of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department.
The OSCE is known as a series of carefully designed clinical stations through which students progress, performing specific clinical tasks that are assessed accordingly.
The examination included two types of stations:
Observed Stations, where students are directly evaluated by supervisors based on specific objective criteria.
Unobserved Stations, where students are required to complete written tasks or analyze clinical scenarios without direct supervision.
