The President of Al-Ameed University Holds a Meeting to Discuss Institutional and Programmatic Accreditation for the Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy
On Saturday, February 22, 2025, the President of Al-Ameed University, Professor Dr. Judat Nouri Al-Jashaami, held an extensive meeting to discuss the institutional and programmatic accreditation process for the Colleges of Dentistry and Pharmacy. The meeting was attended by the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Maitham Hameed Al-Qanbar, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Uday Abdul Redha Hussein Al-Rikabi, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Assistant Professor Dr. Samer Majid Al-Nasrawi, along with several heads of scientific and administrative departments from both colleges.
The discussions focused on the requirements for academic accreditation, the action plans needed to meet quality standards in educational programs, and strategies to enhance infrastructure and scientific laboratories in alignment with international standards. The meeting also addressed the challenges facing both colleges in the accreditation process and explored solutions to ensure academic and research excellence.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to develop a roadmap for implementing the institutional and programmatic accreditation requirements, outlining executive steps and follow-up mechanisms to ensure the achievement of the desired goals.
