In an atmosphere filled with joy and spiritual delight, the College of Basic Education for Women at Al-Ameed University held its third annual celebration on Saturday, March 15, 2025, commemorating the auspicious birth anniversary of the grandson of the Noble Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his purified family), Imam al-Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).
The celebration included a variety of segments, most notably the hosting of several orphaned families registered with the Ansar Fatimat al-Zahra (peace be upon her) Charitable Foundation, in a humanitarian initiative aimed at bringing joy to their hearts. The event also featured cultural competitions focused on the radiant biography of Imam al-Hasan (peace be upon him), during which valuable prizes were distributed to the winners. The event witnessed active participation and a wide presence from female students and academic staff.
This celebration stems from the college’s keenness to instill Islamic values and to promote the spirit of giving and social solidarity among students and the broader community, inspired by the noble legacy of Imam al-Hasan (peace be upon him), who embodied the highest virtues of generosity, kindness, and compassion.
