Al-Ameed University made a remarkable and active participation in the distinguished tech event *IO Extended Maysan 2025*, the first of its kind in Maysan Governorate. The university was allocated a dedicated booth that featured presentations of its modern electronic programs, a collection of publications from its Central Library, as well as highlights of its prominent academic and technological achievements. These displays attracted significant interest and interaction from the event’s visitors.
The Administrative and Legal Assistant to the University President, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul-Rahim, delivered a speech in which he expressed the university’s vision in supporting innovation and modern technologies, and emphasized the importance of enhancing collaboration between academic and technological institutions. His address was well-received by the audience and led to opening new avenues for cooperation with participating entities, aiming to serve the interests of students and the academic sector in Iraq.
