The College of Medicine at Al-Ameed University conducted the Objective Structured Practical Examination (OSPE) for the Family and Community Medicine subject for fourth-stage students, which comprised seven diverse assessment stations.

The stations included Clinical Communication Skills and Oral Exam stations, in addition to stations for analyzing images and clinical scenarios related to primary health care programs. These programs included the Integrated Management of Childhood Illness (IMCI), maternal and child health, care for pregnant women, family planning, communicable and non-communicable diseases, and vaccines.

Supervision of the exam involved the participation of the Dean of the College of Medicine at our university, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Mustafa Murtadha, and a number of college faculty members, alongside a group of doctors from the Karbala Health Directorate. This reflects the scientific cooperation between the two sides and the support for the quality of medical education.

This exam is part of the college's plan to enhance practical clinical training, develop students' skills, and ensure their readiness for the upcoming professional stage, in alignment with global medical education standards.
