The preparatory and technical committees at Al-Ameed University have completed their final arrangements for the launch of the International Al-Noor University Qur’anic Competition, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and hosted by the university tomorrow, Monday, with the participation of an elite group of Iraqi and international universities.
On Sunday (October 12, 2025), the university witnessed the convening of the competition’s technical conference, attended by the organizing committee from the ministry, members of the judging panel, and representatives of the participating universities. During the meeting, the mechanism of evaluation and the criteria adopted for assessing participants were explained, in addition to reviewing the technical and organizational aspects of the upcoming events.
These efforts come within the framework of Al-Ameed University’s keenness to ensure the success of this competition, which aims to promote the culture of the Holy Qur’an within the academic community and entrench its noble values among university students — in harmony with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Al-Ameed University in supporting scientific and cultural activities of faith-based and humanitarian character.
